Open Beta

Legends of the Mara open beta is part card game, part idle tap game. It is the first always-on game in Otherside where voyagers get to use their Otherdeed playing card to hatch Mara, farm sediment, and hunt shattered. Voyegers that successfully defeat Shattered are awarded loot chests containing valuable loot.

Requirements to play

In order to participate in LOTM open beta, voyagers need an Otherdeed Expanded. Otherdeed Expanded can either be bought on a marketplace or claimed by burning an Otherdeed. If a voyager claims their Otherdeed Expanded by burning their Otherdeed, they also receive an Otherside vessel which can hatch into a Mara.

To perform tasks like farming and hunting, voyagers will need Oda. Similar to an Otherdeed Expanded, Oda can either be bought on a marketplace or a Mara can be claimed for each Otherdeed burned.

Objectives

The objectives of LOTM open beta are simple: hatch Mara, farm sediment, and hunt Shattered for loot.

If voyagers do not have any Oda, they can hatch Mara by placing their vessels on their Otherdeed playing card in Camp.

To farm sediment, voyagers can place their Farmer Mara
