Expand Deeds and Hatch Vessels[edit | edit source]

There are two Otherdeed collections that are tradable on the market - Otherdeed for Otherside and Otherdeed Expanded. Note: The visuals of an Otherdeed appear the same for both collections.

Example Otherdeed

The Legends of the Mara (LOTM) game requires an Otherdeed Expanded to play. Players that have an Otherdeed (not expanded) can expand it to transform the deed into an Otherdeed Expanded. Transforming into an Otherdeed Expanded gives you one of three Vessels (Hunter, Farmer, or Enchanter), decouples your Koda if your deed has any, and activates the Koda Origins Obelisk piece.

Once you have your Otherdeed Expanded and your Vessel, you can place the vessel in the 'vessel slot' on your Otherdeed to begin the hatching process. The hatching process takes seven days to complete before you can reveal the rarity (common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary) of your Mara. If you don't want to wait seven days for your vessel to hatch, you can speed up the process with Myst.
Note: You can place one vessel at a time on any open deed to hatch the vessel.

Choose your path[edit | edit source]

There are two routes you can explore in LOTM - Hunting Shattered or Farming Fragments. The type of Oda you hold will determine what you are able to do in the game.

If you hold a Koda or Kodamara, you can do anything, while Mara are only able to perform their assigned role. View the table below to see what your Oda are capable of.

Otherdeed Breakdown[edit | edit source]

🌋Environment Tiers Min: 1 Max: 5

👉 Tier = Max number of Oda you can place on a deed

⚔️ For Hunting Tier = Strength of the Shattered (higher tier requires more damage to defeat a shattered)

  • Environment Type: currently does not play a role in LOTM Season 2*

🪨 Sediment Tiers Min: 1 Max: 3

🌾 For Farming Tier 3 sediment produces 2x the amount of fragments that Tier 1 sediment produces

  • Sediment Type: determines the type of fragment you are farming*

Oda Breakdown[edit | edit source]

> Mara > Kodamara (not available yet) > Koda

KODA can Hunt, Farm, and Enchant

Mara can only do their assigned task (Hunter Mara can Hunt, Farmer Mara can Farm, and Enchanter Mara can Enchant)

How well an Oda performs is determined by its tier 👇

Koda Tiers: Koda Weapon Koda Mega Koda
