The First Trip was an immersive event in the game, introducing voyagers to new features like real-time voice chat and hi-res Voyager skins. Led by Curtis and Blue, voyagers undertook missions including rescuing Kodas and defeating foes. The event ended with a dance party and the release of a teaser video and litepaper.

==Experience Recap==
Upon logging into the First Trip, Voyagers were greeted in the [[Infinite Space]] lobby, where they familiarized themselves with game controls and explored new features like real-time voice chat and spatial audio. They were introduced to key characters, [[Curtis]] and [[Blue]], before venturing through a portal into The Swamp.

In The Swamp, Voyagers embarked on their first mission: freeing Kodas trapped in crystals. They then embarked on a scavenger hunt to find [[Wagmi-San|Wagmi-San's]] glasses. Guided by Blue and Curtis, Voyagers journeyed to The Obelisk, where they powered up the structure and faced off against an evil Koda in a thrilling boss fight.

The event, which boasted an impressive peak of 4,620 concurrent attendees, culminated in a lively dance party and a showing of a teaser video. Unfortunately the teaser was cut short, but was later shared [https://x.com/OthersideMeta/status/1548362619328741378?s=20| on X] along with the Otherside [https://otherside.xyz/litepaper| litepaper].

The Sphere is a giant amphitheater-type space and served as the central meeting point throughout the trip. Once at the sphere, Voyagers were tasked with their first mission - find the Kodas trapped in crystals and save them. After saving the trapped Koda, Blue tasked the Voyagers with a scavenger hunt to find [Wagmi-San's] glasses.

Blue and Curtis then proceeded to guide the Voyagers to a jump pad that took them to The Obelisk where two additional events took place. The first required Voyagers to evenly distribute themselves to various charging stations so they could power up The Obelisk. The second involved teaming up to defeat an evil Koda as boss fight music blared in the background. 

The First Trip concluded with a dance party and a teaser video for what is to come. Unfortunately the teaser video was cut short but was later [https://x.com/OthersideMeta/status/1548362619328741378?s=20| posted on X] along with the Otherside [https://otherside.xyz/litepaper| litepaper].


As voyagers kept joining, everyone was running around, spamming new emotes, checking out the new hi-res Voyager prototype skins, and meeting up with their friends to try out the real-time voice chat and spatial audio features. After about 10 minutes of letting voyagers join and get familiar with controls, a gigantic [[Curtis]] appears to greet everyone and have a mini dance party. Voyagers were then introduced to [[Blue]] and together, Blue and Curtis prepared the voyagers to enter a portal that opened up beneath them in the center of the space. 

As voyagers fell down the portal, they enjoyed a brief, trippy experience and landed in [[The Swamp]]. Voyagers learned about jump pads to move around the map faster and use them to navigate to an amphitheater type place called The Sphere. After some banter and attempting to split into teams, voyagers received their first mission: find the Kodas trapped in crystals that fell from the sky and save them. After saving the Kodas, voyagers reconvened at The Swamp and were sent on a scavenger hunt to find [Wagmi-San|Wagmi-San's] glasses.

Blue and Curtis proceeded to guide the voyagers to a jump pad that took them to [[The Obelisk]] where they were given more tasks. Voyagers had to power up The Obelisk by going to charging stations and trying to evenly distribute between them. Once The Obelisk was charged and the group selfie was taking place, Boss fight music started playing and an evil Koda appeared. Voyagers had to work together to sling themselves at the evil Koda to defeat it.
